Hello,
As far as getting codes there is a way to get the flash codes. The method should be found in the manual section on this site. Basically you just short a wire to make them come up. it is a fairly simple system and that can all be found in the manual as well. A few companies at that time used this or a very similar system. Of the top of my head I can come up with the following car manufacturers that used it Jaguar, Porsche, VW and Ferrari. Others may have used it also but those are the ones I am remembering at the moment. I believe Saab used the Teves Mark II system on the classic 900. Good Luck, Bernie
