We have a fancy infant car seat (with base) in our other (much more modern) car. Maybe the short term solution is to purchase another base for that car seat - to be used in the 900.
I can definitely see where it would be difficult to plop a kid into a rear facing seat in the 2-door, so the removable seat makes sense here.
This buys me some time to figure out the eventual forward-facing setup… which sounds difficult. Do you place yours in the center or off to the passenger side?
