Thanks for the offer. I actually already have everything I need I'm just going to leave it all out of sight until the insurance guy comes here. Thanks for all the information that was very helpful I'm out in the Midwest quite a ways from Connecticut. Yes I own the car out right. It's actually a car I contemplated selling and posted it on saabnet not too long ago. I would give it a 9 out of 10. It is absolutely the nicest convertible I've ever seen. It's only got 80,000 miles on it I turned it from an automatic into a five-speed in the fall of last year. A rebuilt the whole interior all the hydraulics on the convertible top everything on the car works as it should. Do they really go off the Blue book value of some book or do they actually go off the value of what the cars are selling for? If it becomes too much of a headache I'll tell him to kiss my a and kick him off my property and I'll just fix it myself and not even worry about it. It's not that hard to swap out an axle I have a lift I have all the stuff that I need I've done it several times. I was just really lucky that it didn't get into the fender and cause any body damage his tire just clipped my tire and he pushed the rear axle about a quarter of an inch. cmyles said it's repairable. I will definitely do the swap and then look into repairing the axle to get the car back on the road. Unfortunately you know how these people take forever to do anything right now it's up on my lift I may just pull it out and stick it under the carport. Since my driveway is gravel it will drive on the gravel it certainly wouldn't drive on the road. Thanks for your input I wish I was closer I would definitely take that off your hands. Been collecting parts for more than 25 years.
