900 5-Speed Popping out of Gear- easy fix?

Hi! I'm looking to buy a classic 900 convertible with a 5-speed and I test drove a 1991 today. Although it had a number of issues most seemed somewhat manageable but one (and I'm far from a mechanical expert) left me wondering if it was something to worry about: the car kept popping out of 4th gear. The owner said the fix was easy to do (a rubber block bushing?) but I wasn't so sure. Is that sort of problem an easy fix? I've done brakes, say, or an oil filter, but never transmission work and I'm not equipped to remove a transmission. That said he seemed to indicate it was a bushing or mount of some kind. Any help would be welcome.

The car was at a low price but if that's a big issue I might get concerned- the airbag light was also on and there was a dent in the hood from what he said was a minor collision. He also said it needed suspension work and an alignment but those might not be as big of a deal.
