There are four seals, two o'rings, four gaskets, one flat o'ring and and about 30 bolts that all can possibly leak transmission oil so you should clean the unit and attempt to locate the actual source or you may end up getting very frustrated.
The four gaskets are sealing the four cover plates; rear, front, dipstick and fifth gear plate. If the bolts securing those plates are loose or the gasket has decayed there will be a leak. The inner drivers each have an oil seal and the inner driver housings have an o'ring seal and the six bolts that secure each inner driver housing to the main case must be sealed with thread sealant or they will leak. It's quite common for people to service the inner driver and forget to seal those bolts. All the engine to transmission bolts on the right side of the unit must be sealed as well and there is one bolt that is even sometimes completely missing after major service (it's easy to miss). In addition to the shift shaft seal there is a clutch shaft seal and a flat rubber ring sealing the clutch shaft cover. The three small bolts that secure the clutch slave cylinder to the case must also be sealed or they will leak. Except for the transmission drain plug (your unit should have one) and dipstick seal that's all the possible leakage sources for transmission oil from a C900 five speed. The main and front cases are sealed with anaerobic sealant but it's very rare to see a leak from that unless a rebuilder failed to apply the sealant there carefully. Fixing that requires transmission disassembly.
