Soft clutch.. Posted by Goblin [Email] (#2224) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Goblin) on Sat, 10 Sep 2022 06:51:49 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Just trying to make sure I'm remembering correctly. When the clutch starts going soft that's usually the clutch master cylinder correct. I put two brand new clutch master cylinders from O'Reilly's. After a while the clutch almost goes all the way to the floor like there's air in the line but there is not. I have the kind of bleeder that pushes fluid through and air out I've used it multiple times. Works great especially on the 9000. But after a little while the clutch starts going back down to the floor. I bought a Luk brand clutch master cylinder I'm going to swap it over. I replaced everything with new components I used an original clutch slave cylinder just replace the o-rings. Not losing any fluid anywhere either. So from what I remember fluid is bypassing the two seals inside the clutch master cylinder correct? So hopefully replacing with the new Luk brand it will be a better quality.
