Hello,
The brake pedal feel is different. It is an electric over hydraulic system. So if the car stops correctly, which should be pretty good, you might not have a problem. The 2 lights for the ABS should come on when the car starts. One goes off quickly and the second one goes off when pressure is built. So after the second light goes off pump the brake pedal and count how many times it takes to get the light to come back on. These days if you get 5 or 6 pumps thats pretty good. If it is less than that you need a brake accumulater. I forget the spec but in reality it should a dozen pumps to get the light on.
The system and other similar systems were used on many cars in the late 80's and early 90'sas such as the Buick Reatta and Grand National, Saab, Jaguar, Porsche and Ferrari. Good Luck, Bernie
