My sun roof drain was blocked. I attempted the usual methods, compressed air, using a shimmy to clean it out. Nothing.
I pulled back my headliner (88 has automatic seat belts + shorter headliner which makes it accessible) and pulled the tube out.
Well the tube was not only jammed up, but cracked in several places. It looks like it didn't have enough structural rigidity to hold up around the two tight bends the hose goes under and just crimped itself (with the help of some dirt) shut.
I went to Lowes and picked up some clear vinyl tubing, 1/2 inner diameter, and this worked perfectly. It was a bit thicker than the old one so it went over very nicely. The 1/2 diameter was slightly too small so I applied a bit of heat and pushed it over the barbs on the sunroof.
Now it is draining and my seat is no longer wet.
In the future, this post may help someone else searching for a replacement. The part is NLS.
Took about 10 minutes. Not sure how long it would take or if you'd have room on a non auto-seatbelt headliner without dropping the front of the headliner at least.
