My 1994 900 turbo convertible I recently purchased has low fuel pressure at the rail (15psi). The car had been sitting a couple years (inside) and while it ran fine when it was at the sellers house, it started bogging and barely made it home. The gas in it smells old. I have swapped out the regulator, and it is the same. I imagine there is a problem with the pump, or less likely something going on inside the filter.

I plan to replace both. The pro parts pump is just over $100, and the genuine saab pump is $350 or so. While I don't mind spending the extra money, I worry that they are both the same part at this point. I have service records for this car, and the previous owner had the pump replaced a few years ago. Didn't seem to last long.
