What plugs did you install and what brand of wires as well? Another option on the clogged cat check is to loosen the flange on the front of the car were the metal donut seal it located and take a quick run and see if it gains power. Alot cheaper than a back pressure tester. Remember while a clogged cat is the most often a reason for a excessive back pressure/clogged exhaust, a muffler can fall apart internally and clog exhaust flow as well. Good Luck, Bernie
