c900 vert water in well where top lives Posted by JesterV [Email] (#3361) [Profile/Gallery] (more from JesterV) on Thu, 9 Nov 2023 14:21:42 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I've been all over reading bits of this and that and can't find good answers to this question. Is there a drain for the area behind the rear seat where the convertible top lives when it is open? I know about the drains along the rockers below and behind the door. All cleaned out. I have a nifty tool that is little brush on a wire that does a great job on this. I'm not worried (yet) about finding the leak where the water comes in. (Whoever installed the new top did not install the aluminum trim at the bottom of the vert top correctly. Tilted up and collecting debris and almost certainly leaking.) For now I want to know where the water is designed to go once it gets back there behind the seat. I read there is a tray back there, but I don't know that.
Related. Why does water pool on the top of the spoiler that runs along the truck next to the vert top? There are two holes, but they appear to be screw holes. Is this just a bad design and the water just hangs out there?
