Gentlemen -.Good morning! I also have an ‘86 900S hatchback, closing in on 278,000 miles (bought a couple of years ago with 269k). I love her. Great visibility, seat position, and safety. I’ve had a few Saabs - 9-3 Aero, 9-3 Sportcombi, and 9000CSE. Love working on the old gal (except for a recent clutch slave cylinder!). I tinker around with some leather and wood and have added a wooden shift knob and a leather face on the glove box. Good luck with all your projects. Stay strong!
