I leave the master's two firewall nuts a little loose. Helps me get the hose threads going into the cylinder. then tighten. I've rebuilt a couple dozen cylinders. One got weak after a couple years. The others were no problem. I've been involved with a couple aftermarket cylinders that leaked right away. When I looked at them the piston was obviously a sloppy fit in the bore. A friend has had good luck with a Luk. I've compared the aftermarket rebuild kit to a Saab kit. To my eye the main seal in the Saab kit is looks slightly more stout. But If the cylinder bore is clean and the piston is good I'd rebuild.
