With the servo capsule off of its bracket, I was able to redrill the rivet holes for the American rivets I'd be using (3/16" I think). The original metric rivets were slightly smaller, 4mm I think. I stuck the drill bit into the plastic heater box by hand, because there was no space for a drill. I checked and there was *just* enough space for the pop riveting tool. I would have liked to do it with rivnuts and screw on the bracket, but there was definitely not enough room for the rivnut tool. You can see all the scratches in the heater box plastic that the vac servo capsule made while sliding around in there detached, trying to open and shut the vent flap.
