Thanks Walt - I actually did exactly what you described last week.

I took the banjo bolt off, put in a vise, heated it up and slipped in new line but had a leak at the Dorman union near the shock tower (leaking on the old line side).

I may try again as I have another 5ft of line and another Dorman quick connect
