Air conditioning questions Posted by Goblin [Email] |
So what causes the blower motor function to start blowing slower when you boost when the air conditioner is on? And another question why do some of the vacuum lines going underneath where the windshield wipers are at have a one-way check valve and some don't. I think my 1990 has it and my 1987 does not. My 1987 is doing the slow blower function when I boost it when the air conditioner is on so I tried putting a one-way check valve on that vacuum line going over to the canister that on an 87 convertible is in the passenger side fender well. On my 1990 convertible that canister I believe is in the trunk. Does anybody know the difference in why that one way check valve would be on one and not on the other. But of course my main question is trying to figure out why the fan starts blowing a little less when I'm boosting and then as soon as I'm out of boost and I'm back in vacuum it starts blowing full blast again. Thanks
