We'll be glad to help you out with this but we do need some info first. What year is your C900 and why does it need its shift linkage adjusted? Do you see the dogbone style or barrel style coupling? Also, believe it or not I do these from above by leaning over the passenger side fender (cuz I'm too old and lazy to jack up the car and lay on the ground). You should need nothing except a 13 mm wrench (I use a small ratchet and socket) and the pin through the holes in the linkage inside the car. The "boot" I'm imagining shouldn't interfere with doing the adjustment. Let us know.
