So I ended up having lines made. I went to four shops before I found someone willing and able to take on the job. Folks were stymied about the connection to the trans.

There are at least 2 variants of cooling line for the in-hose cooler. (External cooler is a different animal). One variant has a female connection ON THE HOSE coming off the trans. The other, the one I had, has a male ON THE HOSE coming off the trans.

First is was expensive (about $270!). Also the hose the shop used is hard to work with within the tight confines inside the engine compartment. I've got the car back together. If I had to do it again, I would probably try to rig something up myself with heavy duty heat resistant hose and fuel injection hose clamps.
