Easy DIY. The biggest problems that I had were that the bolts holding the lower bushing supports to the body were pretty well rusted and I had to soak them with a lot of PB Blaster to get them to move. On a couple of them, I had to drill a small starter hole to get enough rust-buster in there to get the nut to turn without shearing off the bolt.
Also, get a shock absorber mounting nut just in case you shear off the threaded part of the old shock post.
Be careful not to pull the steering knuckle out too far when you pull the lower ball joint out, so the inner CV joint doesn't damage the boot.
As usual, jack stands are a must, having good rust penetrant and using spacers under the upper control arm make things a whole lot easier.
A breaker bar with the proper size impact wrench socket helps, too.
Have a new lower ball joint handy just in case you shear off the bolts. If you don't shear off the lower ball joint bolts, put some grease on the shafts of the ball joint bolts before you reassemble it so they dont rust to the joint.
