Exhaust banging when chan´ging gears...

If I accelerate WOT over 5000rpm or so and release throttle for changing gear, BANG (well sometimes even BANGBANG), funny noise from the exhaustpipe. What could be causing this? It´s been doing this ever since I got the car, before any upgrade.
Any thoughts?
