What I would do if I were you is buy a turbo car and use it as a doner for your car. That way you get EVERY part, and you can see how it all goes together. I am sure you could find a late 80's 900 turbo for under $1000. Hell, the body and interior aren't important. In the end, you'll end up with some spare parts too. (You might even get a turbo 5spd!) I have parted out 4-5 900s in the past. After being in an office all day it is kind of refreshing. Plus, its a parts car, so you don't have to be careful. Make sure you tell us how it goes. I have been kicking around the idea of putting a 16 valve turbo in a 99. I have all the parts, I am just concerend about the time it will take.

PS- If you get hung up getting parts, drop me a line, I have all the stuff you need, but you are better off just buying a complete doner car.
