Your AMM measures the air going through it, and "assumes" that all that air is going into the engine, and not being vented through plumbing leaks. Thus, it's reporting more air than is really going in when you're under boost, and I expect your injectors are pumping out more fuel than they're supposed to. Bottom line: until you fix the leak, you'll be running rich when boosting.

It's opposite when you're not boosting, though. That hole is a leak through which the vacuum in the intake manifold can suck air in behind the AMM. Result: AMM thinks there's LESS air going in than there really is, and you're adjusted too lean.

If it were mine, I'd order the part, and use some kind of patch over the hole (duct tape? rubber cement and cloth??). And I'd probably continue to go ahead and drive it, but avoid the boost situations as much as possible to keep it from leaking or ripping the hole open all the way.

If the hose blows completely off, the car will run really crappy, if it even runs at all, because the AMM will detect no flow, even though the engine is sucking in unrestricted amounts of air. So there's a risk you could get stranded if that part completely separates. Also, since most of the time that pipe is =sucking= air, as the intake manifold is usually under vacuum, you are pulling dirt and stuff into your engine through that unfiltered hole. After you replace the rubber part, go ahead and clean the inside of your throttle body with a good spray cleaner; it can't hurt and it will probably need it.
