The T28 uses compressor wheels like the larger (50, 60) T3's, but turbine wheels like the smaller T3's ( as the 45 in the 16V-T) . It, and the larger T3's are a good choice for a max of 240-280 hp, and normal street use. The big T3 will be more efficient.
The T3/T4 starts with a big T3, and adds an even bigger T4 compressor wheel. These are for over 300 hp, or less hp at a road track where running max power all the time. They will have more lag.
