Look on the passengers side of the kick panel, where the computer rests. That little ledge will allow a tweeter to fit quite nicely. On the drivers side, the tweeter can be affixed to a "L" bracket & screwed into the bottom of the dash, where the hood release is. I did the tweeter this way & it sounds many times better then the dash. I also thought about the locations you are talking about but if you want to spend the $$$ to have them installed there, spend a little more & have a 5 1/4 or 6,5 inch component set mounted on the kick panels. I finally went this route & it sounds great. It also made me not need any rear speakers which saved me $250 :o)
