ahem....no such thing as "no wear" power. wear is proporional to power no matter how you get it. my suggestion is go with the mitsubishi turbo. Unless you are targeting a full out racer you want to get the greatest driveability out of it. otoh if you do a lot of mountain stuff ( I use to live in denver so i am aware of the rocky mountain high that sucks the life out of your engine on the way to breckinridge et all ;)a garret hybrid may be better. the mitsu spools faster but the garret blows more air when asked too. I ordered my hybrid turbo from the turbo shop in golden. top quality, all parts new for 750$ delivered. i forget their name but a good bunch of guys wait...tec. turbo eng corp or something. i would not worry about a charge cooler at this time. just pop on a better turbo and get it all tuned and running well for a couple of kmiles. then see where you need to go. Get an 84 throttle body and send it out for boring out. use late model air tubes etc. I get roughly 200 hp (164 at wheel) at 8.5-9 pounds boost at sea level(ported my own head and dropped C/R to 8.5). engine never gets over half on temp. even driving over the grapevine into LA in 90deg weather towing one ton with foot in ALL the way into it in fourth at 75 mph engine barely broke a sweat. heat is your main enemy.
