Somewhere on TSN there is a FAQ for headliner replacement. The procedure is quite useful and straight forward. I bought the fabric from Hancock Fabrics. Check
http://www.hancockfabrics.com
for a location near you. If you have a sunroof, You're going to need at least 3 yards. Maybe 4 with the rear pillars.
What's not easy to do a good job is the sunroof, for two reasons. First, the sunroof fabric is snapped in place onto the front and back of the sunroof tray by two pieces of plastic sewn into the fabric. I spent an entire Saturday afternoon sewing those two pieces of plastic onto the fabric. I made the plastic trim by cutting a piece of vinyl siding trim found, of all places, in Home Depot. Second, with the sunroof, the headliner shell has a well in the rear passenger area. Be careful to allow enough fabric in the well area, but not too much so to create a crease. If the fabric is being stretched too much in the well, it'll sag again pretty easily.
I did a good job on the sunroof. But the rear passenger well is starting to sag a little because I should have used more help when I attach the fabric to the shell. In other words, I stretched the fabric too much in the rear passenger well area.
