I also have an 86 900t. The front rotors on your car are specific to 86-87 turbo models. I usually buy mine from the local forign parts store and they cost me $70 a piece. They are Brembo, and I don't really think they are that good. An independent saab specialist near me claims that the process in which the Brembo rotors are made is different, and it causes the brakes to sometimes groan(not squeal) at low speed. I have noticed this and it is kinda wierd. Other then that they seem fine. Just make sure you properly service the caliper and parking brake while you are there. I would be hesitant ordering them from a large part house, because the rotors and pads are 86-87 turbo only and I would be afraid that they would send incorrect stuff. Expect to pay at least $25 for decent pads.
If you do want to get them by mail, I would use Sports Car Service, I have allways had good luck with them. They are a Saabnet sponsor, and they are only 45 min from my house.
