well, im strating to feel sorry i didnt just fix the 1980. This new 900 i bought 1 month ago has begun to whine. high pitched, its a gear sounting whine, not belts or anything like that. its not in the trans (sound is proportional to engine speed, not load, not road speed, if idling in neutral it whines when revved.)sound goes up in pitch as engine speed increases. this is troubling. I have become familiar with most of the sounds on the 8valve but this is a whine that i dont recognise... any input would be greatly appreciated. car still runs fine.
also, HVAC system only blows as though it were on defrost... all positions blow from defrost and side vents. gives a nice hot head, cold foot sensation.... what do i do?
