Jim,
Thanks for the input. I have been soo busy with the "Honeydooo" list I even haven't had time to play around with the AID. I called and talked to Dave/Marty at SPG 9 and I was wayyy under timed. Marty suggested to start out at 20 then 23 then 26. I'm figuring that the 22-23 will probably be where it will need to be. The other problem that I'm having is that I have a lager 9000 clutch and flywheel and the timing marks are for s%*t! So I know that the shop set it up to 17, but I'm going to borrow a digital Snap On Timing light just to make sure. The only thing that I'll need to remember is to finish my vacume hose hold downs brackets and when I get to sea level to get it to 20' BTC. I do need to get it done soon since I'm tired of watching to boost rise to 17-19 psi and no whammooo. Even the other day an Escort GT gave me a good run at me from 20-60 mph, I could feel my car cursing at me in Sweedish.
I plan on documenting to all when I'm get in dialed in right. A guy out here is making his 92 900T fly out here with the MSD BTM, and he was bummed that it only took me 20 mins for the install with the AID and it took him about 1 good day to get in the MSD BTM. His car was hard to keep on the road once the boost got past 20 psi. I tried to sell him my copper head gasket, but he just smiled.
Thanks again,
Bill in Denver
