You'll need quite a shoehorn to make it all fit. If you're aware that the 9000 engine is mounted transversely and the OG 900 engine is mounted longitudinally, then you must have *some* idea of the great difficulty of cobbling a 900 5-speed onto an OG 900. Not to mention getting the power out to the wheels. Think about it. Sketch up something and see if you can make it work on paper.
It would be easier (not to mention a heck of a lot cheaper and faster) to re-engineer the 900 5-speed in the form it is now ... or just have a set of the larger Ericsson pinion bearings put on your transmission when it starts to sound whiney.
