I had the same problem on my '88 900S (4-door) a few years ago. It's not so much a hose into the trunk that needs attention (even though the drain-outs need a look every once in a while. I found that the body seams under the trunk (or hatch) weatherstripping needed to be resealed. The sealant SAAB used shrank and let water in. The fact that the seam overlap was top forward-up, letting water drain right into the seam instead of over it (like shingles), made it worse.
Then again, it could be that the weatherstrip doesn't seal right.
