I've been using it many years. Wash your car well before using it.
When you apply it, go ahead and cream it on generously -- it's cheap. I always use a thin t-shirt cloth to apply, so I can feel the skin of the car through the gooshy cloth as I apply it. My hand gets a little wrinkly, but no biggie. I like the tactile feedback. If I feel any tar dots or other stuck-on dirt through the cloth as I apply it, I use the NuFinish as a sort of liquid solvent to remove it, swirling gently over the same spot until it disappears. I will generally cover the entire car's painted surfaces with the NuFinish before I begin removing it, rather than doing one section at a time. Also, I work in my garage, out of the sun.
To take it off once it dries is easy. I use a soft terrycloth towel, wiping over the car with very light pressure and long sweeping motions. You'll find that if you make about four or five passes over the area, using almost no pressure on the towel, the dry coating will come right off. That's one thing I like about NuFinish: it's easy to take off. Snap the towel often to shake the dust out of it.
I've tried other products that cost a lot more, but came back to NuFinish. It's good stuff.
