Just an update with the AID from SPG 9. Took it out for a drive yesteday with the timing adjusted to 20' BTC. Started out without really getting on it and all was well.....(I'm soo glad that saab put that small toolbox in the back, I took out the really big one...putting it back in tonight.) When I'm doing the test flights here is my path. KCTH, or Keep Close To Home. I drive around the block to see if its road worthy. Yep all seemed well at 10-25 mph. Took it out on the road alittle farther from home, but if it all lets loose I've got the cell phone and a tow rope in the truck. (Can't you tell that my mustang has crapped out a time or two before?) Car was running pretty well, but I don't like to really boogie on heavy traffic areas. Ok still running ok. Highway time, and time to see what the AID can do. I was getting on it 40-50-60--and then a sound. Reminded me of new years eve and bottles of wine with a large PoP! All of a sudden I remember "Monsters" story, yep time to land this puppy. Car running like crap, trying to stall. I knew it was the hose off the throttle body. Easy fix but a.) it scared the hell out of me and b.) not good if this happens to with wife. So I guess its time to the tork hose clamps, which leads to my question. Where do I get them? I know of not going to Autozone or Pep Boys or I'll get the "we only carry stock, or it will take 3 weeks to get that item in." I've got the other problems covered, but I just want to see where the sweet spot is and then I'll back down the wastegate, but it will be hard. I can't do it today, going skiing this afternoon...... Giddie UP!
