Took the usual 45 minute commute this morning in the '94 9kcs(central New Jersey). Traffic was just like any other day, stop and go, but not particularly bad.

I thought I smelled exhaust in the car with the windows closed. Yes indeed. This whole morning I was caughing. I suspect the nuts on the front pipe to the exhaust header come loose again. I have had to tighten up the nuts at least twice since changing the front pipe and the cat in December. Went out to check 10 minutes ago. They were tight. So the elliptically pinched nuts were holding fast. I think next thing I'll check is the stainless nuts and bolts on both sides of the cat when I get back home.

Has this ever happened to anyone else on the board?
