I've discussed different issues with Hirsch, and they have made a real impression on me. Sure, they are pricey, but quality always comes at a price.
I prefer to see my Saab as a hobby, so I would not likely buy a "concept" as a turn-key solution. But for those who are more interested in driving a wickedly fast Saab with (very close to) factory reliability, I would say Hirsch is pretty damn close to the only option. Nordic in Sweden make claim to the throne of Saab tuners, but they really DO NOT have a clue as to what they're doing.
Hirsch have always had this "less is more" attitude so closely linked to the "factory tuners" that most German car manufacturers are linked to (AMG, Alpina usw). I would love to drive a 9-5 Troll R, as long as I could still keep my 97 9000 Aero as a hobby car... Anyone at Hirsch care to sponsor me? :-)
On another note, Zip, if you have any questions about upgrades on your Aero, just send me an e-mail and I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have. I have tried a thing or two on my Aero.
