The case on my tranny lost a chunk the size of a quarter and all the oil leaked out. I check my fluids often and detected the leak in time before the tranny was damaged. I still have to go for a new tranny because the case is leaking. It's a 91 9000 turbo. Any ideas why the tranny case would just brake like this. Is this a manufacturer's defect. A new saab tranny is $2100, it would have been $1600 but the old core is worthless. Any comments.
