Hi KL - must be the full moon! Just did the mounts on my 91 9K last Thursday. Yes, I read all those postings too. Quasi motor's has really good photos and good proceedure. I managed front and rear right side, passenger side, w/out loosening the subframe. I jacked the motor up - carefully - and removed the front bracket that holds the mount to the block which came off w/3 bolts. Seemed more direct, maybe not. The rear mount was a bear. Thought about removing the bracket back there too, but couldn't get to its bolts, so just kept at it - jacking up a little & down a little and prying w/a 3' bar....carefully- and all of a sudden the mount just "fell" out! Next deal was to get the "key" on top of the mounts to seat into the "keyways" in the brackets - more jacking & prying, but it all clicked togther. Ooopps, we have different types of mounts, I think they changed in '89 sorry - disregard. Stick with it. Bolts on tops of my mounts are 16mm, as I recall.
Also did the top strut bearings, and that was real effective in getting rid of front end "clunks" - Good Luck
