My first guess is that you blew off a vacuum hose. An air leak can cause poor idling as you describe. Check the air connections at the intake manifold and at the valve cover. Check that the vacuum hose to the turbo bypass valve (a.k.a., the hooter valve) has not been disconnected. The hose connects to the back of the bypass valve, so you can't see it from the top of the engine. Follow the hose up to the Y connection and make sure that is secure. All of these vacuum hoses are push-on, so they can become dislodged.
If the vacuum hoses all check out, pull the Direct Ignition cassette off and check to see that you haven't forced water down into the spark plug wells. This would be a good opportunity to put dielectric grease on the spark plug insulators.
If you are still having problems, inspect and clean the electrical connections at the DI cassette and the three ignition plugs lined up vertically next to the battery tray.
Good luck!
