Need help in tuning suspension

Hi, I have diligently read the bb searching out the possibilities regarding upgrading the suspension. I am looking in particular for recommendations/experience regarding the tradeoffs regarding ride comfort vs handling, bearing in mind that I live in Michigan, where potholes are larger than life. I hope that those here that have done suspension work will be willing to share their thoughts on my particular goals: I currently have a 97 9KT 2.3 CSE, but this is soon to be a 98 9KT CSE with the 225 hp engine. I presume this has the same suspension as the 97. I want to improve the handling without giving up any ride comfort. Yes, I want my cake and eat it too! The two primary goals in improving handling is to reduce the sway when cornering and improve the roadholding. I do not want to increase the ride harshness at all, in particular regarding expansion strips, potholes, the initial "bump". One of the charms and joys of saabness for me is the happy marriage of utility and sportiness: Day to day errands and family trips mixed with solitary rips. So....
1) Koni's??
2) Abbot or B&G springs?
3) CSA Swaybars?
4) Poly bushings?
5) Some combination?
6) Aero springs?
7) Something I haven't considered?
I have ordered new tires (yoko avs db 205/55/16 to go on the Aero 16 " wheels. I am also planning on doing a performance exhaust(probably stainless steel because of salt) and ecu (still in planning but probably maptun).
Thanks for any guidance.
