RAY,I would love to go back and cause a ruckus,...but thats not me. They were very nice to me both times I went up there, and they did take pretty good care of me.The thing that has me really upset about the situation is that they testdrove my car for all of 2 minutes, came back and said "U NEED A NEW TRANNY".They didnt check the fluid at all,and they didnt physically check the tranny for damage. I dont understand how they take it around the block and ASSUME I need a new tranny, when it doesnt act up all the time. It does all those weird things only past half throttle, and when it does it feels like it mis-shifts,overboosts,shutsdown,comes back on,catches gear and goes(<-STRANGE huh?!).
At this point I dont know what to do!! I dont know of ANY HONEST mechanics that do SAAB's. I have a mechanic that can fix ANYTHING with an engine,...but he refuses to touch my SAAB!! I've looked over the mechanics here on saab.net,and was thinking of going to Roland at Swedish somethin' in brooklyn. Anybody deal with him yet?? As for BECK CHEVY/SAAB, I highly doubt I will be going back there,as I dont have dealer $$$$ for repairs!!

Ray t.-As you were a collection agent here in my neck of the woods,do YOU know of any honest SAAB mechanics?? Or at least somewhere I can go and have the tranny checked out properly, that isn't gonna charge me an arm, leg, and 2 pints of blood?
Bill J.-I totally agree w/u,as I'm not 100% sure.I will NOT go and start shit until I am!! =^)
