A word only has the power you choose to give it. I feel sorry for your friends if they are bothered by so simple a word as "rice". But unfortunately their cars (am I undstand you to by implying) are rice. If they are going to let themselves get upset over a word used to describe the kind of car they have freely choosen to turn their cars into then perhaps they should consider doing something else. I will not stop using a word becuase they choose to allow themselves to be offended by it. I work with guys who are proud to have their rice cars and they call them such. So I guess not everybody feels it's a slur.

And as to your Nazi referrence you are wrong. What you are attempting to do is in fact a form a facsism as PCism itself is a facist movement. You are attempting to force your set of ethos on me by implying I am a bigot for using an innocent term used to describe a type of modification style started by the Asian import crowd that you and your friends take offense over. The hope is that I will reel away from the public hummiliation of the bigot inferrence by apologiezing and distancing myself from the use of a word you don't like.
