Sounds like good advice, and won't cost and arm & a leg. Visited with long-time mechanic friend this morning, who suggested with pan & valve cover removed, place catch basin beneath engine, then spray with cleaner and hand remove anything can, spray some more - that should get rid of 90% of debis. Then go with the frequent oil changes. Adding some engine cleaner just prior to oil change sounds like good idea too. Have any favorites?
Thanks for the help. Think it was you that first diagnosed this trouble a couple of months back as an intake screen problem - thanks again.
