Maybe the turbo

Well, I may have been wrong about the head gasket, I think it's the turbo now. I warmed the car up slightly before doing a compression check. It looks good, 1-4 are 158,145,155,165. I don't know why #2 is low, but it's not too far off. These seem like pretty high pressures for a turbo engine while only cranking. I'm sure I'll need to replace the head gasket in the next 20k miles or so, but I'm glad I can wait.
Anyway, I also noticed steam coming from the right (exit) side of the turbo. I was reading posts on the BB regarding white smoke, and saw references to the turbo failing. Mine isn't making any unusual noise when I gas it. Just the normal turbo noise. As I said in the first post, it seems to run great, except for all the smoke. There is water running down the exhaust though. Is it possible it's a bad gasket somewhere, or am I looking at a new/rebuilt turbo?
And regarding the O2 sensor, I'll probably get a new one from http://www.oxygensensors.com for $40. I don't think I need one yet, I had really good numbers on my last smog test 6 months ago. But then I haven't replaced it in the 80k miles (at 201k now) I've owned the car.
And I just wanted to say that this BB is a great resource. It helped me figure out what was wrong when my car was dying and the tach would read 0 even though the car was still in gear and going 40mph. I found someone else that had the crank position sensor go out. Hard to believe that little thing costs $246 though.
