I repaired a hairline crack (same leaking only when hot symptoms) plastic Mazda radiator (the top part of the radiator, not the expansion tank) with 3M 2216 structural adhesive- basically a two part epoxy. I fixed it at lunch one day when pressure was released and radiator was cool.
Roughened the area with sandpaper, then thoroughly cleaned the area with isopropyl alcohol a few times. Applied the epoxy into a small trough I made with tape (to hold the epoxy in place while curing). Never a hint of a leak after that. I sold the car three years and 80,000 miles later.
It can't hurt trying. Best of luck.
