I am curious if you have Saab oem mounts.
The torque mounts dampen motor movement forward and backward. Look at the dogbone mount. The cut-outs should face forward and backward so that the flexible part of the mount will absorb the vibration. In the case of that mount, the solid parts of the mount should face the sides of the car, and the cut-outs should face front and rear. The same goes for the mount attached to the alternator bracket.
When I first did motor mounts, I installed the dogbone mount incorrectly. Vibration was significantly reduced when I corrected it. Also, I used scan-tech mounts, which are a lot stiffer than oem. I currently have solid rubber in the alternator bracket and oem style in the dogbone. Vibration at idle is pretty intense, but not nearly as bad as when I had solid rubber in both mounts.
