Welcome! First, you really, really need the Haynes manual.
ISBN 1 85960 184 7
Picked mine up from Amazon (see link below).
1) Auto Tranny. Some people here are going to say "UH OH!". In fact, I've just had 3 very good Saab specialty shops say to me today "We don't fix auto trannys, we just replace them". There are some things you can do, and I will outline them here from easiest/cheapest to most difficult. First thing to do is look at this diagnostic diagram:

a. Drain/flush the tranny and replace the mesh filter/O-rings. Refill + some additive like Amsoil. You should do this anyway.
b. Band Adjustment. Procedures for this can be found at Townsend's site:
http://216.78.172.244/transmission_folder/9kautobandadj.htm
This procedure can be done "in car" and the only odd tool it needs is a 22mm crescent/box wrench or 1" adjustable if you don't have that.
c. Accumulator spring replacement. These can break or "go bad". You can refer to this doc:
http://216.78.172.244/transmission_folder/hard3-49ksb.htm
Obviously this is not an easy job, but the mechanics I've talked to won't touch it, so you're probably on your own.
If none of these 3 things does it then you're probably looking at a rebuild.
2. No heat/AC. If you turn the fan up high, do you hear the blower motor kick on? If not...Turn the heat, set to the dash vents. Close driver's and passenger side vents and open center vent. Get on the highway and drive. At about 45+ Mph, you can feel the hot air blowing from the vent. If so, it's the blower motor. Just replaced mine about 20K ago...real PITA job. A competent Saab mechanic can do it.
3. Your radio is not grounded properly, can't tell you why or how. You'll have to pull it and do some electrical tracing. A good car audio shop should be able to help you with this.
4. Check that the mounting bolts haven't come loose first. The motor sounds fine if it is moving and can do a 360' so it's probably the assembly. Lots of good, cheep stuff on ebay, but many of the site sponsors are good too.
