Hey Morkai, thanks for your post on the air intake. I ordered the parts shortly after you showed me how it works, but just finally last weekend had enough time to put it together. It went real well. The only alteration I made to your instructions was to paint the bent tubing with engine paint (red, to match the DI), and I have no fog lights, so air rushes directly into the K&N filter which is in the fender well, also the underbody panel acts as a wind dam so it is almost a cold air induction system. I am so pleased with the performance effect it has on my throttle! My 93 CS non-turbo is no longer "sluggish" from 10-25 mph. This air intake kit was well worth the time and money, and little to no effort once I had time. Thanks again for your info. You were right too, there is no new cabin resonance at higher speeds, like I have heard of with an inside the engine compartment air intake.
