Mystery solved, I think.
I receently bought my wife a 92 9kT and placed her 86 9kT in semi-retirement. Her 92 is green, my 92 9kT is black. The black car factory alarm chirps when the doors are locked, the green car doesn't chirp but all the doors lock. Could the secret switch in the glove box hold the answer to this difference? I can't wait to get home and see if this device is really there. Also, if a key is needed, where do you get it? The previous owners never gave me them. (I bought my black car at Roberti, the green car privately).

Here is another mystery about the newer green car that maybe can be solved by anyone reading this. The green car dousn't have the same badges as the black. As I recall, sitting here at work, the trunk doen't have the "turbo" badge, and doesn't say "9000". It has a gryphin (?) enamel badge though. The previous owner says it never was in a collision or had bodywork done.

Here is another one. The black car front air dam scrapes a lot on dips. On the sam route, the green car doesn't scrape. Both cars feel the same when I bounce the fron ends by hand.
