All my mounts are so @#$%^% shot it is embarassing. Surely this is a large percentage of the problem.

Betcha that whatever mount had any remaining guts in it has quit this week. (It's really hot here in Chi Town.) So the main noticeable problem is what used to be a powerplant shifting on load, is now becoming a SAG when unloaded.

Terminal, I know: but motor mounts are a heck of a lot less than a tranny. AND they'd have to be renewed no matter what.

Stephen, I am going to buy one new mount per week until I have the lot, replace them all, and see what happens. Better send me your snail mail address, you're in for a reward!

Yep, I'm mentally cataloging how to best plan this right now....

Thanks to Jon906 too, I'm calling Ericsson tomorrow. "Just...in...case" <reverb> (from an old Underdog episode.)
