yep, i did the same thing, but if you are putting an amp in the trunk too, you will also need to run the power wire, in which you will want to run the power on on side of the car and the rca's along the other for better sound quality, espically if you are running think power wire. I have a 9000 CS with 4 gage power running to the trunk to help power my ~1300 watts of power b/w two amps. also, as far as the box goes, depends on the look and functionality you want. i wanted great looks, but still functional, so what i did was make the spare wheel well the box, using fiberglass.... that way you can keep the same floor. just hope you don't get a flat. but in my case, i did this for two 10's , and decided to raise the floor by 3 inches to hide the amps under the floor and make it look real slick. i'm hoping to have the pics from start to finish up on my website soon, but i'm being lazy. but when i do i'll post it.
